love on the awkward
Totally cringe-inducing. Like, don't constantly freak out and maybe everything won't be so awkward. Oh and all the Jack probably didn't help.

wowza
I don't know if it's bad form as she is "teen," but this is the funnis the funniest thing I've seen in a while.
She's like a robot gone haywire. DOES NOT COMPUTE. SOUTH AFRICA. MAPS. IRAQ. DOES NOT COMPUTE.
And having to deal will all of Zach Morris's antics must have been the one thing that kept Slater from laughing. Seriously. Unless he thought it was the right answer.

a few things
- Cleveland still rocks: Walking in this morning I spotted three discrete vomit locales. I'm a little ticked you didn't tell me Wednesday was the new Saturday. But, all the same, that's some impressive binge drinking for a school night. Take that Cincinnati!
- "Cute pet, what's its name?" "Dramatic chipmunk.": This has been all over the tubes lately, but it's hilarious and I laugh every time.
- There might be bugs on some of your mugs, but there ain't no bugs on me: The dog has a point, but he could probably stand to lose the scarf.

schadenfreude
A fool and his skin are soon covered.
(I think you have to give your area code and sex - YES! - to read that article. Lie if you must; it's worth it.)

life imitates art imitates Alec Baldwin going completely apeshit on his daughter
Wow.
I thought he was sweet in Glengarry Glen Ross, but apparently that was him in "kind and caring" mode. (Incidentally, I made 75% of the comments on that post. I am this blog's biggest fan.)
I like the guy as an actor, but sheesh, count to ten . . . or a million or something.

so far, off to a bad start
If you're looking for love, I'm sure this is a GREAT way to find it. You know, assuming you don't have a branding iron handy.
Update: As Alan points out in the comments, the store if F for Fake and I'm pretty dumb. What can I say? I got a case of the Mondays. The Weekly World News URL was deftly hidden within the Yahoo URL. The attribution to WWN at the end of the article wasn't hidden at all. Whatever the case, I apologize to the 7 of you. Oh, but the hilarious branding iron comment still stands.

deduction
Given:
I don't find Carlos Mencia funny. I think he kind of sucks.
and
In the comedy world, Carlos has a reputation for stealing jokes from a lot of comedians.
Therefore, a lot of comedians suck . . . ?
Sure, a lot of comedians do suck, but I suspect when you're stealing jokes you have to shy away from people's best material, provided they're somewhat famous. That would make it, you know, a little obvious.
Side note: I was half-expecting Joe Rogan to choke Mencia out. And how great is it that George Lopez knocked Mencia out (sorry, not shown). I respect that. I'm going to watch whatever that show George Lopez is(was?) in from now on.

if I only had a blog
Recently folks have been asking me to blog things. Or they tell me to blog something very specific to blog about. "Oh, you should blog about how that guy is annoying," that kind of thing. Well, this blog is not about what I want to blog about, it's about the people. Whoever you are.
RS2 emailed me to say "if she had a blog," she would post about how much Ohioans like to drink. Alas, she doesn't have a blog and they take like 18 seconds to create, so, ok, here you go. Ohioans like to drink. Suck on that Indiana!
I'm sure RS2 has noticed two immediate problems with this method of getting information "out there." 1. She sent me this link exactly one week ago. She probably thought (and my writing reinforces the theory) that I just log into blogger and start going nuts, posting things willy-nilly all over the internetial tubes. That's not how I roll. Each post must gestate in my mind . . . for at least a week. Especially posts about my love of drinking. The second problem is that I can't remember things and have forgotten the second immediate problem with having me post things for you. See how easily I could forget the vital information that the people need to know? Whenever you have me post something for you, this is something you need to keep in mind.
